About Us

The Bureau of African Peace (BAP) is an African-oriented Organization uniting Non-Governmental Organizations in Africa towards the cause of advancing peace and the well-being of Africa. BAP helps to promote peace, security, and stability additionally mobilizing and providing the needed support for NGOs to connect, partner, share, inspire and multiply their contributions to solve basic challenges confronting humanity. Initiated in 2020 by a single NGO and some prominent visionaries. Bureau of African Peace has quickly become one of the premier African bodies for Non-Governmental Organizations that are committed to the ideals of universal peace, justice, and well-being for all human persons. Concerned with universal values shared across the barriers of politics, culture, religion, race, and ethnicity, the founding organizations and individuals envisaged organizations that would enable NGOs to work in partnerships across those barriers, thereby weaving a selfless social fabric essential to establishing a culture of peace and harmony in Africa. By optimizing resources and sharing vital information BAP provides a means for NGOs to become more effective in completing their task. With its networks across the length and breadth of Africa as well as affiliates drawn from the ranks of governmental and inter-governmental bodies, businesses, and universities, the Bureau of African Peace has become an international pillar in tackling issues of major concerns globally.

FIRST EXECUTIVES

Re-echoing the devastations and the destructions of human lives and properties during the Second World War, the visioners of this Nobel organization decided as a matter of course and urgency to also support the buildup of sustainable peace and security by the United Nations. Peace has always been and is the most essential component for all manner of developments and for that matter, calls for the need to actively work towards its substance. We the first Executives of the Bureau of African Peace by this way deem it appropriate to mobilize and/or organize all well-meaning individuals, groups, and cooperate bodies to come together for us to champion and articulate the word of peace to ensure sustainable development in the world.
