The Bureau of African Peace (BOAP) is an African-oriented Organization uniting Non-Governmental Organizations in Africa towards the cause of advancing peace and the well-being of Africa. BAP helps to promote peace, security, and stability additionally mobilizing and providing the needed support for NGOs to connect, partner, share, inspire and multiply their contributions to solve basic challenges confronting humanity.

What We Do

The peace movements across Africa, are coming together to demand a safer and more peaceful future. A network of organizations, Nuke Free Africa, wants a nuclear-weapon-free Africa; an end to the stationing of US nuclear weapons in Africa; and we demand that European and African states sign up to and ratify the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
